摘要：A small monitor program for the MSP430F1xx and MSP430F4xx microcontrollers that incorporate at least one integrated USART provides a facility for examining the device memory and updating the flash contents with new application code via a universal synchronous/asynchronous receive/transmit (USART) peripheral interface. A personal computer (PC) and a terminal emulation package are all that is required to access the device memory. The monitor allows field updates of system firmware without the need to provide access to the JTAG signals or to the GPIO pins used by the bootstrap loader (BSL).
